About the Humota Theater

Our History

The Humota Theater has been a staple on Sumner Avenue since it's inception in 1928. When locals heard the Theater would be closing their doors in 2018, they knew they had to take action.
The Humota Movie Group Charity was formed. Your new Humota opened with Avengers: Endgame on April 26th, 2019.

Our team is made up of the Humota Movie Group Board of Directors, Theater Management, and Movie Theater Employees.
